Hi, I’m Janelle—founder of Fern and Moss Waxing Studio, Arizona native, and aesthetician specializing in waxing with over a decade of hands-on experience. I’m dual licensed in Arizona and California, and a graduate of the Southwest Institute of Natural Aesthetics and Arizona State University. My path into this industry wasn’t by chance—it was personal. My self-care story began at 16, shaped by health challenges that taught me just how life-changing self-care is. That experience became the foundation for everything I do today. At Fern and Moss, waxing is more than a service—it’s a form of self-care, a confidence boost, and a moment to reconnect with yourself. As a mom of two and a small business owner, I understand how important it is to create space for yourself in the middle of real life. That’s why I’ve built Fern and Moss to feel welcoming, inclusive, and grounded in care—for every body, every background, and every story. I’m deeply passionate about education, both for my clients and for the next generation of waxing professionals. Whether you’re coming in for your first service or your fiftieth, my goal is always the same: to provide a thoughtful, professional experience where you feel seen, respected, and completely at ease.
